A Leverhulme Trust funded international network of people thinking about and researching how emergencies are governed today. We’re interested in anything and everything to do with the government of emergency; from the history of everyday emergency exit signs to exceptional state of exception legislation, from the everdyay emergencies that arise within and disrupt ordinary life to the rare events that loom over the present as anticipated  threats. Contact r.j.gordon@durham.ac.uk or have a look around the site for more information. The network is led by Dr Ben Anderson – ben.anderson@durham.ac.uk
